Taking their name straight from an Arthur Russell track, there are no prizes for guessing what sort of direction My Tiger My Timing’s music is taking. Like post-disco and funky, arty indie, anyone? You’ll love MTMT. Originally formed in 2008 by five friends from New Cross, South London, the five piece (including brother and sister double act, Anna and James Vincent) have been included on several compilations by hip labels Pure and Groove and Kitsune Maison, and are currently drawing up plans for a big-take over this year’s V Festival.
